• After the introduction of cross-network roaming between T-Mobile and Orange, as part of the merger of the two networks under the Everything, Everywhere umbrella, the first of six dual-branded retail stores has opened in south London.

The T-Mobile retail outlet in Tooting, London will now be able to sell handsets connected to Orange, as well as fixed-broadband services, with further stores opening in Palmers Green, London; Hertford, Bridgend, Weston-super-Mare and Dorchester.

Some of these stores will have originally been operated by Orange, and will now be able to sell T-Mobile products and services on the same basis.

If the trial is successful, it is expected that there will be more dual-branded stores opening in 2011 but Everything, Everywhere has yet to give any more details on when this may happen.
