Following yesterday’s Samsung Unpacked event, Speck® announced its line of cases to protect the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Available for the first time is Presidio Stay Clear, a new clear case designed to resist UV-yellowing and discolouration from oils. Discolouration of clear cases over time is a common consumer pain point and to solve this issue Speck developed an innovative material that protects against not only the sun’s UV rays but also lotions, makeup and other oils that traditionally discolour clear cases.
The inner layer of the case is made of IMPACTIUM™ Clear, a proprietary shock-absorbing material that helps protect the device against drops of up to 2,5 meters.
Speck’s line of slim and protective cases for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 includes a variety of styles and functions to meet the needs of Samsung users. All Speck cases feature a raised bezel to protect the large screen during a drop and when placed screen-side down. Presidio cases are equipped with its trademark IMPACTIUM Shock Barrier, a band of ridges that lines the inside perimeter of the case, co-moulded with the polycarbonate shell. When dropped, the ridges compress on impact to absorb and disperse shock.
Speck’s line of cases for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 includes:
Presidio Stay Clear (£24.95) — Features a new innovative coating that resists UV-yellowing and discolouration caused by lotions and other oils.
Presidio Grip (£24.95) — Angled grip geometry offers a tactile hold perfect for the larger device.
