Samsung bike charges your Galaxy Note 3 as you peddle

CES has its fair share of outlandish products every year, and Samsung’s entry into this category is pretty nifty – a Samsung bike that charges your phone.

Referred to as the Galaxy – Trek Bike, the kit is a collaboration between the electronics giant and Trek Bicycle. It has a port to mount an Galaxy Note 3 and charge it up as you peddle. So, yes, you’ll be charging the phone yourself. What is this, the dark ages?

But that’s not all. You’ll be able to connect either the Note 3 or Galaxy Gear to the bike to track speed, distance and other such info. We’d imagine that if this concept ever gets to market, we’ll be a few devices on from the Note 3 and Gear by then. Whoever thought there’d be a Samsung bike?
